It becomes our painful duty to chronicle the death of Miss Catharine Machalena VantLeven, aged 22, at the home of her father, Anthony VantLeven, yesterday at 8 p.m. The funeral will occur tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the family residence near the Iron Bridge, Rev. E. B. Thomson officiating. Burial at Oak Hill. The deceased was a beautiful young lady loved and admired by all who knew her and The Journal extends its sympathy to the bereaved family.
