FRED BRATTON

Fred Bratton died at his home, 904 W. Market Street, at 3 o'clock this morning after a long illness due to tuberculosis. Hew as born March 28, 1883, at Shellsburg, Iowa, but had lived here for a good many years. He married Miss Florence Cruea in March 1908 and to this unon two children were born, a four-year-old daughter and nine-month old son. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Hanna Bratton, who has lived with him for several years and by two brothers, John and Mills of near New Richmond. Funeral services will be held at the Liberty Church, six miles northwest of Crawfordsville at 11 o'clock Saturday monring. Brief services previous to this will be held at the home. Rev. FG Howard of the Trinity Methodist Church will officiate and interment will be in Liberty Cemetery.
