ELIZABETH SLOAN BROWN

Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, 90, a member of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, died Saturday morning in Culver Hospital. She had resided in the Durham Home, 215 W. Main St., since 1960. Mrs. Brown was born March 14, 1881, in Crawfordsville to Henry Ristine and Harriet Ramsey Sloan. She married Edwin Monroe Brown in Crawfordsville on Nov. 23, 1905. He died Oct. 13, 1951. Surviving are one nephew, Jack Sloan of California, and several cousins. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. L. K. Wickett will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday. - jlr
