WESLEY FOUTS

Source: The Sunday Star, Crawfordsville, April 24, 1898
(Corporal) Wesley Fouts, an old citizen of this county, born at Kirkpatrick 55 years ago, died at his home in this city on Wednesday morning. He was a most excellent man and a life-long member of the Christian church. His funeral was from the old home on west Pike street and was conducted by Elder Kerr. Internment was at Oak Hill. Mr. Fouts left a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Dora Hardee. He was a veteran of the war of the rebellion, being a member of the 116th Ind. Reg. Vols.
A deep thanks goes to Kim Hancock for this and most of our old Veterans' obituaries - this one is especially important as I add him on Veterans' Day 11-11-2011 - kz
