Dunbar Reunion 31 August 1919
Photos of a Panoramic Photo from the Reunion!

Location: Indiana

Source: Originally from Brent Harshman thru Monica Fogle Dunbar to Mary Jo Dunbar Barton, who sent us these photo images of the pamoramic photo of the 31 August 1919 Dunbar Reunion.  There is a partial listing of names supplied by Brent.

Note from Brent: I recently uncovered this over 100 year old panoramic photo of a Dunbar Reunion in Indiana. I’m not sure if you have run across it in your research, so I made iPhone photos of segments of the long original photo and attached them to this email. My father made the notes on back that identify persons with numbers stuck on the photo. I hope you enjoy seeing this!

Note from Monica: #1 Melissa (Fogle) Dunbar, Jesse’s wife. #31 Abby (mnu) Dunbar, Joseph Dunbar’s (2nd)? Wife.   Woman seated between Jesse #21 and Joe #22 is my great great grandmother, their sister Eudora, and standing behind her on the right is Silas Dain, her husband, my great great grandfather.

Note from Jim (assistant webperson):  Upon receiving these photos I did some digital correcting and resizing in an effort to combine back into a panoramic photo.  However the original photos did not have enough overlap to accomplish, I'm sorry.  The photo would have been fantastic reassembled.  The first photo below will be a partial listing of the names.  Then the photos will be in order from left to right (seven total).  If anyone would like to see their families panoramic photo posted I can scan photos up to 19 inches wide and if need be stiched together pieces that I scan for larger photos.

Below we have a self playing slide show.  By placing the cursor below the "Control Bar" you will see a description of the photo.  There is an icon "[ ]" on the right side of the "Control Bar" that by clicking on it the slide show will enlarge to "Full Screen".  You can then move forward or backward, at your own pace, by clicking on the right or left arrows.  Then there are full screen controls in the upper right hand corner.  Please enjoy!
