Linden July 4 - Descendants of the late WZ and Mary Shobe McBee held their 8th annual reunion Sunday at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Will McBee with 40 members present. At noon a basket dinner was served. At one table were seated Mrs. Olive Hart; Mrs. DP Long; WT McBee and MZ McBee remaining children of this pioneer couple. Those who attended from a distance were Mrs. DP Long of Swayzee; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Parker and son of Martinsville; Mr. and Mrs. George Fox of Francesville; James Campbell and family of Darlington and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hoss and son of near Jackson Heights.

Those attending from here: Mr. and Mrs. Martin McBee; Mr. and Mrs. Frank McBee and daughters; Isaac McBee and family; Mr. and Mrs. Hal Turnipseed; Mr. and Mrs. James Irons and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. WT McBee; Mr. and Mrs. WJ McBee; Mrs. Olive Hart; Mac Parker and Malcolm Montgomery. Others present were: Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Royar of Darlington; Mr. and Mrs. George Fox, Francesville; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Keller and son, Lafayette; Mr. and Mrs. George Inskeep, New Richmond; Mrs. Elsie Parker, Fort Wayne; Mrs. DP Long and Mrs. Clyde Leisure of Swayzee.
