SAYERS REUNION

The fourteenth annual reunion of the Sayers family met with Mrs. Sarah Cade and son Charles of Sugar Grove on Tuesday of this week. The attendance was not nearly so large this year as usual from various causes. The absence of a number o family of several prominent families being sensibly felt but the reunion was one of the best the family has had. After dinner the roll was called, short talks were made by Prof McBeth, Robert Bonwell and others. The committee on memorial made report there being one death that of Dr. Floyd Conling. Three births and four weddings were reported in the family during the year. The offices were elected: Alex Sayers, Pres; Samuel Kirkpatrick, VP; Miss Jennie Borum, Sec. The next meeting will be held with Mr. and Mrs. Mark Borum of Shawnee. A vote of thanks was tendered Mrs. Cade and son for hospitable entertainment. Miss Allen of Washington DC was guest of honor. Wm. Sayers of Lafayette, the oldest member of the family was present.
