The reunion of the Spencer family Wednesday had about the usual number in attendance with rather more relatives than in former years. The day was pleasant in the little grove and an unusually good time prevailed. The best of the land was displayed on the table in abundance. A good program was rendered and the following officers elected: President, Wm. Caffery, Indianapolis; V Pres, George Spencer, Milligan; Sec’r CW Spencer; Zachary Robertson, GW Spencer, and John Warrick, committee. Mrs. Ella Bloomfield of Widfield, Kansas, Mrs. Mattie Halliday and son of Chrisman, Ill and Nelson Lough and wife of Hillsboro were among those from a distance. - kbz
