ARCHIBALD MARTIN, Sr.
Source: Crawfordsville, Indiana Weekly Review Dec 15, 1910 p 3
A number of heirs of the late Archibald Martin, Sr. were at his home Tuesday afternoon, looking through his effects in their efforts to learn, if possible, whether or not he left a will. They succeeded in finding many notes and mortgages and other valuable papers which he possessed but they discovered no will. It is the belief of the heirs that he did not leave a will. Arch Martin, Jr, of this city, who transacted practically all of his business for a number of year, knows of no will. M.W. Bruner, who has been the attorney for Mr. Martin who for the past score of years also says he knows of no will having been made. The estate is estimated to be worth between $150-200,000. The heirs are the children and grandchildren of Mr. Martin's four brothers and his one sister. A fifth brother died without leaving any children.
Note from transcriber, kbz -- Wouldn't Arch, Jr. be his son? Confusing
