JONES Leland A. JONES: I am white, male, married, age 40, occupation, unemployed, reside on Horton Hill, Paoli, Ind., with my wife and 7 children. I am not related to any of the parties in this case nor do I have any interest in the outcome thereof. Q: How long have you known James DAVIS? A: Ever since I can remember. He used to room at my house when I was a boy. Q: Did you ever visit him in the country where he lived with his wife, Inice? A: No, never did. Q: Did you know Woodrow HOLLEN? A: Yes, I know him well; I went to school with him. That was when the family lived with Corder HOLLEN, his father, just 3 doors from us. Q: Did you keep in touch with him? A: After they moved to the country I never saw him again until I met him after his discharge from service. Q: Do you know his brother-in-law, Wayne SCOTT? A: Yes, I saw him pretty often since the late 1920s. Q: Where did he live in 1931, 1933, and 1938, if you know? A: I think in Paoli, as often as I saw him. Q: Did you ever see Woodrow with him or did you ever hear of Woodrow being at his house at anytime? A: No, to both questions. Q: I have no further questions. Do you have anything to add? A: No, except none of the SCOTTs are any good, in my opinion.
