Service: Enlisted at Winchester, Virginia in July 1776.
Served in Capt Abraham SHEPERD'S Company, Col RAWLING'S Regiment.
He was taken prisoner at Fort Washington, Nov 1776, after 9 weeks released.
Joined wagon services under Jacob HILLISMER and BIDDLE, 4 months.
Returned to his father's home at Redstone Settlement, Pennsylvania and served four campaigns against Indians.
Proof: Pension record pension allowed 1820, while a resident of Washington County, Indiana

Directions: Trimble Cemetery is located in Section 7 of Northwest Township of Orange County, Indiana. Traveling east on State Hwy 60 from Mitchell from lawrence-Orange County Line, go about 2 3/4 miles in Orange County, turm right on CR 650N which goes immediately into CR 750E or Brown Road and go 1 3/4 miles to CR 450 N turn right or west onto CR450N and go about 3/4 of a miles and turn left or south onto CR 650N a, go about 1/10 of a mile and turn left or east to the entrance to Trimble Cemetery.

Or you can take State Rd 60 from Campbelssburg, Indaina, west of the Washington-Orange County Line, go about 1/2 mile inside Orange County to CR 650N aaaaand turn left aaand the road immediately goes into CR 750E or Brown Road and go about 1 3/4 miles to CR 450N turn right or west onto CR 4450N go about 3/4 of a miles turn left or south onto CR 650N, go about 1/10 a miles and turn left or east to the entraance to Trimble Cemetery.

Or from State Road 37 in Orleans, take SR 337 southeast of Orleans, Indiana for about 4 3.4 miles, turn left onto Weeks Road, go about 1 1/4 miles or more to CR 650E of Boone Road and Cemetery entrance is across the road or east side of CR 650E.
