Enlisted on 24 January 1949.Retired on 1 February 1969. Korean War Veteran assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division 38th Infantry Regiment Medical Company as a medical technician. 30 November 1950 seriously wounded in North Korean sector. Awarded the Purple Heart medal. Awarded the Silver Star Medal for combat valor carried a wounded man to safety while crossing enemy fire sweep area and gave first aid. Also a Vietnam War Veteran.
