DEPARTED ON 19 APRIL 1945 FOR KERAMA RETTO, OKINAWA, ARRIVED ON 10 JULY 1945. ON 9 OCTOBER 1945 THE NESTOR WAS DRIVEN AGROUND BY TYPHOON LOUISE AND HAD TO BE ABANDONED AND DECOMMISSIONED.
