World War II Veteran.Entered service on 2 March 1942 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. Trained in Seattle, Washington, Camp Hood, Texas and Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Served in the Aleutian Campaign also with the 261st Infantry Regiment,Company A,65th Infantry Division"Right to be Proud".in the European Theater. Killed in Action on 26 April 1945 near Regensburg, Germany while crossing the Danube River.
