Entered service on 31 July 1943 at Louisville,Kentucky.Served with the US 6th Army 7th Infantry Division 32nd Infantry Regiment "The Queen's Own".Landed on Leyte Island 20 October 1944. as part of General Douglas MacArthur's forces.seized Buri airstrip on 27 October 1944.Eliminate Japanese forces south of the Marabang River and captured Bam Bay.Killed in action on 4 November 1944.
