Sarah Wineinger Lewis Bible

As with many of our families, The Wineinger/Lewis family are located in Martin, Dubois and Orange County. Many of our families also could be found in Crawford, Lawrence and Washington Counties. It has been said that Sarah Lewis's parents were the first to be buried in Wininger Cemetery. Sarah Lewis and Thomas Lewis are both buried there as are most of their children.

Thomas H. Lewis son of Simeon and Barbary Lewis born February the ninth day
in the year of our Lord 1821

Sarah Lewis wife of Thomas Lewis and daughter of John and Ellen Wineinger
was born on the 10th day of Dec in the year of our Lord 1819

Amanda Melvina Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the
twenty ninth dayof January in the year of our lord 1841

Delpha Ann Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the
sixteenth day of December in the Year of our Lord 1842

William Franklin Lewis son of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the
sixteenth day of june in the year of our Lord 1844.

Thomas H. Lewis son of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the twentieth day
of October in the year of our lord 1845

George W. Lewis son of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the first day of
May in the year of our Lord 1847

Barbary Ellen Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the
fifteenth day of February in the yearof our Lord 1849

Sarah Dianah Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the third
day of March in the year of our lord 1851

Simeon Bluford Lewis son of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the twenty
eighth day of November in the year of our Lord 1852

John Calvin Lewis son of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the twenty nine
day of May in the year of our Lord 1854

Eliza Elizabeth Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the
twenty third day of August in the year of our Lord 1856

Lucy Ann Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis was born on the
thirteenth day of April in the year of our lord 1858


Marriages
Thomas H. Lewis and Sarah Wineinger was married on the sixth day of
February in the year of our Lord 1840.

Deaths
Sarah Diana Qualkenbush wife of William Qualkenbush and Daughter of Thomas
and Sarah Lewis daied May 26th, in the year of our Lord 1901at 1o'clock in
the morning, age 50 years , 2 months and 23 days.

Sarah Lewis wife of Thomas H. Lewis and Daughter of John and Ellen
Wineinger died September 9thin the year of our Lord1876 at 8 oclock in the
morning age 56 years and 9 months

THomas H. Lewis son of Simeon and Barbary Lewis died May 21st in the year
of our Lord 1890, at 5 o'clock in the evening, age 69 years 3 months and 12
days.

Simeon Bluford Lewis son of Thomas and Sarah Lewis died July 14th in the
year of our Lord 1854, age 1 year 7 months and 16 days.

Lucy Ann Lewis daughter of Thomas and Sarah Lewis died December 17th in the
year of our Lord 1870, age 23 years 8 months and 4 day
