Daughters of
Elias and Anna (Tarr) Glenn

Submitted by Vonda Lee Heverly

These four ladies are all daughters of Elias and Anna (Tarr) Glenn. Elias was fairly well-known in Southeast township, and I believe he gave the land for Rock Springs Cemetery, where he is buried.

I don't have a date for this photo, but I do know that their sister Julia Glenn Wideman died in 1886, I believe in Kansas. It is hard to judge their ages, but this could have been what brought them all together for a picture.

In back are Harriett Glenn Wood (1841-1931) and Martha Glenn Starrett
(1844-1928), and seated in front are Mariah Glenn Heil (1848-1928) and
Mary Glenn Moore (my great-great grandmother, 1855-1928)
