The photograph is of Joshua Briner (b. 1816 KY). He arrived in Orange County in 1818 with his parents, George Briner (b. 1787) and his mother, Elizabeth Coffman and his grandparents, Peter Briner (b.~ 1750) and Catherine (b.~ 1750). Joshua lived the remainder of his life in Orange County. He and his wife Sarah (Bush) had many children and grandchildren.
