Pace Robinson Cemetery

       Located on in Dubois County on private property near Hillham, IN. Permission required. These inscriptions were read in 1933, 1987, and 2003 by George W. Milburn, William Henderson Wininger, Marvin Beatty, Deborah Silvera and Dubois County Genealogical Society. I read and photographed the rapidly deteriorating stones in 2005 and 2006. The present farm owner keeps the site mown and accessible. He told me that as a boy, on Memorial Day, he remembers seeing American flags in an area of the cemetery where there are no visible stones or remnants. Where no photo is shown, data from previous transcriptions has been used. There are many grave sites with no stones. Mr. Milburn is reported to have stated in 1933 that there were about 50 graves with no marker or no inscription.
