Perry Preston Gay and

Leora, daughter of Christopher and Cora Beatty, and Perry, son of Jefferson and Mary Drake, were married in Orange County on September 19, 1911. During their marriage they became the parents to six children. Both of these families were from Jackson Township and date to the earliest time in our county.
