This picture and caption was printed in the Springs Valley Herald on 10/27/93. it is a copy of a picture my aunt, Anna Marie Richardson Borcia, has. The picture was taken at a picnic of Prospect and friends. The picnic, according to my dad, Francis Hayden Richardson, was probably held where the Church of Christ in Prospect is now located. The land at that time was owned by my great-grandfather, John Guy Richardson. who owned and ran a grocery in Prospect and also lived in Prospect. He gave the land to the Church of Christ. Most of the picture are kin of mine.
