Lewis Reunion
is annually held at the French Lick Senior Citizens Building on the second sunday in July @ 12:30 pm. It is a pitch in lunch, with games for children and adults and a business meeting at the end. The Burton/Lashbrook families have a reunion scheduled for August 2, 2003. We will meet at Springs Valley United Methodist Church at noon for a potluck dinner. The Burton family is connnected with the Lashbrooks in two manners. Elmer Burton was the great-grandson of Solomon and M. Caroline Kearby Lashbrook. Clora Lashbrook Burton was the grand-daughter of Jeremiah Lashbrook. Both Solomon and Jeremiah were brothers. If there are family descendants for Solomon or Jeremiah who wish to attend, they are welcome to do so. Please bring photos. Exchanges of genealogy information and examination of the Family Heritage Displays. Campfire socializing in the evening (bring your musical talents & instruments).

The park offers camping (primitive and electric hook-up), and cabins. To make reservations call Kim or Chris Strange at 812-883-5101. These cabins are basic accommodations without linens or other supplies. Salem has three Bed & Breakfasts and both Seymour and Scottsburg have a variety of motels if you prefer not to "rough it.". The park has limited outdoor seating, so bring lawn chairs along with your picnic supplies for the family potluck on Saturday. We have people coming from all over the country, so make your reservations NOW!

July 25, 1999 - FIRST ANNUAL EMMONS FAMILY REUNION
July 25th at 1 pm in West Baden , IN at the Lower Shelter house in the West Baden Park, the first, and hopefully, annual Emmons Family Reunion is to be held.
Kathy Kalb and Lori Stephenson decided to give this a shot. WE decided that all Emmons families decsended from Lydia Romine Emmons Fannin and Serinous Emmons should be included. The area that this family covers is extensive with Martin, Orange, Clark, Floyd, KNox Daviess, Montgemery, and Jackson Co., IN, Lawerence, IL and Arkansas plus many other areas. PLease tell your relatives about the reunion.
This year only coffee will be provided. So bring a covered dish and anything else you wish to bring.
