Thomas Barker Harned 1798-1884

Thomas was born on May 16, 1798, in Loudoun Co., Virginia. He married Elizabeth Real on Apr. 26, 1821, in Crawford Co., Indiana. Thomas and Elizabeth lived near his father, William, in Orange Co., Indiana. The Harned Chapel Church now stands where Thomas lived, he donated the land for this church. The family moved to Iowa in 1861. Thomas and Elizabeth both died near Columbia, Iowa, she on Nov. 24, 1870, and he on Aug. 22, 1884.
