One of the most impressive structures in this country, The West Baden Springs Hotel, is located in Orange County. The restoration of the hotel has returned this building to its appearance in the early 1920s. For those of us that remember the building as a Jesuit seminary or the Northwood Institute, the building seemed drab and old, but today we can see why this was a world class hotel. Jim Winkler and his wife are professional photographers and operate a photographic studio in Washington, Indiana.
