Before the "new" hotel was built in 1902, the West Baden Springs Hotel was a thriving resort featuring 500 rooms for guest. Lee W. Sinclair had built the hotel's reputation up to equal the French Lick Springs Hotel. The advertisement below is from the former hotel and was an entire page in the Journal.
