Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks Married Fifty Years

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hendricks of Spencer route 3 will be guests of honor for their 50th wedding anniversary October 13 at the home of Mrs. Hendrick's brother, Murl Noel and Mrs. Noel at 309 West Hillside Avenue in Spencer.

The couple were married October 18, 1924 by the late Rev. Ollie S. Hawkins.

They are the parents of eight children, a daughter Mrs. Clifford (Betty) Mathes of Bloomington route 6 and seven sons: Robert of Indianapolis, Richard of Bicknell, Lester of Martinsville route, Wayne in California, James of Bloomington and Jack and Jerry of Spencer route 3. They have 18 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

A family dinner will be held at Noon and open house will be held from 1:30 to 4:30.

Mr. Hendricks is a retired stone worker and is retired from several years at Showers Brothers of Bloomington.
