Killed in Service

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Steel received definite word last week that Captain John Hendricks was wounded in action in France October 12, and died October 18. Capt. Hendricks was raised by Mrs. Steel's mother, Mrs. Phoebe Goodpasture, at Romona, and made his home with her until he enlisted in the Marines three years ago.
