  • Allen, Ina: World War II. WAVES. Died: 19 October 1979 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, Indiana. Buried:  Rosedale Cemetery. Per Parke County Sentinel 22 October 1979.

 

  • Bicknell, Anna, M.: Air National Guard. Airman. Took basic at Lackland Air Force base, Texas. Graduated: Montezuma High School Class of 1976. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip A. Bicknell of Montezuma. Per Parke County Sentinel 15 March 1978.

 

  • Butler, Lois, Jeanne: Vietnam War. Navy. Registered Nurse. Served 22 years. Retired with the rank of full Commander. Born: 24 April 1927 in Jackson Township, Parke County, the daughter of Lochel Earl and Mary Pauline Dowen Butler. Died: 27 April 2002. Buried: Memory Garden Cemetery. Per Parke County Sentinel 1 May 2002.

 

  • Causey, Jane, B.: World War II. WAACS. Stationed at an Army Air Base at Bakers Field, Calif. Former resident of Montezuma, Indiana. Began training in February of 1943. Per Rockville Tribune 17 June 1943; Stationed at Hawaii. Cpl. Per Rockville Tribune 6 July 1944.

 

  • Cook, Donna: WAVES. Graduated: Rosedale High School, Class of 1950.

 

  • Dickerson, Victoria: Navy Trained at the Wave recruit training center at Bainbridge, Maryland. Enlisted on 19 August  1959. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dickerson. Per Rockville Tribune 5 November 1959.

 

  • Harvey, Rose, W.: World War II. Army Nurse Corps; Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar L. Harvey of Tangier. 2d Lt. Graduated: Lakeview hospital school of nursing. Per Montezuma Enterprise 18 February 1943.

 

  • Havey, Edith, Louise: World War II. Navy. SKD 2/C. Received Honorable Discharged 26 February, 1946 at Great Lakes. Lived at Rockville, R. R. 3, Indiana. Per Rockville Republican 7 March 1946. Parke County Discharge records - Book 9, Page 353; Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Havey of Rockville R. R. 4. Per Rockville Tribune 31 August 1944; Havey-Lawson, Edith: Served three years with the WAVES during World War II. Born: 20 April 1921 in Clinton, Indiana. Graduated: Rockville High School, Class of 1928. Married David Lawson on 20 April 1957. Died: 9 March 2007 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Buried: Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute. Per Daily Clintonian 12 March 2007.

 

  • Havey, Virginia: World War II. WAVES. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Havey of Rockville R. R. 4. Per Rockville Tribune 31 August 1944.

 

  • Martin, Alice, P.: World War II.  WAC, Army.

 

  • Nevins, Mary, Francis: Waves. Enlisted: July of 1943.

 

  • Pisoni, Carmelita, P.: World War II. Marine Corps Women’s Reserve. Daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pisoni of Rosedale, Indiana. Per Rockville Tribune 14 September 1944.

 

  • Stryker, Betty, Jane (Randolph): World War II. Navy. Born: 23 August 1922 in Vigo County, the daughter of McClellan and Myrtle Riley Randolph. Died: 26 October at Castle Shannon Nursing Home in Rockville. Buried: Memory Garden Cemetery.

 

  • Verdich, Evelyn: Army WAC. Discharged: 23 March 1946. Per Parke County Discharge Records – Book 9, Page 327.

 

  • Virostko, Carol, A.: Air Force. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam J. Virostko of RR 1, Rosedale. Graduated: Rosedale High School, Class of 1976. Per Rockville Republican 24 January 1977.
