            Received from Michael Wilkins of Franklin Co. In the sum of One Hundred dollars being in full for the E Half of the S.E. qr of section No. 24 township No. 16 N of range No, 9 West containing Eighty acres, at the rate of $1.25 per acre $100

It is hereby certified, That, in pursuance of Law, Michael Wilkins of Franklin County Indiana on this day purchased of the Register of the Land Office at Crawfordsville, the Lot or East Half of the South East quarter of Section number Twenty four in Township number Sixteen North of Range number Nine West containing Eighty acres at the rate of one dollar and twenty five Cents per acre, amounting to 100 Dollars for which the said Michael Wilkins shall be entitled to receive a Patent for the Lot above described.

No. 2387     TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING:    

            Whereas Michael Wilkins of Franklin County, Indiana has deposited in the General Land Office of the United States, a certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Crawfordsville, Indiana whereby it appears that full payment has been made by the said Michael Wilkins according to the provision of the Act of Congress of the 24th of April, 1820, entitled "An act making further provision for the sale of the Public Lands," for The east half of the south east quarter of section twenty four, in Township sixteen North of Range nine west in the District of Terre Haute and State of Indiana containing eighty acres according to the official plat of the survey of the said lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which said tract has been purchased by the said Michael Wilkins.

NOW KNOW YE, That the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in consideration of the premises, and in conformity with the several acts of Congress, in such case made and provided, have Given and granted, and, by these presents do give and grant, unto the said Michael Wilkins and to his heirs the said tract above described: To Have and to Hold the same, together with all the rights, privileges,m immunities and appurtenances, of whatsoever nature, thereto belonging, unto the said Michael Wilkins and his heirs and assigns forever.

PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, have caused these letters to be made Patent, and the seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed.
