Received from Michael Wilkins of Franklin county, Ind. the sum of One hundred Dollars and  no Cents; being in full for the E frac of the S.W. qr. of Section No. 19 in Township No. 16 N of Range No. 8 West containing Eighty acres, and no hundredths, at the rate of One Dollar and Twenty Five Cents per acre,

It is hereby Certified, That, in pursuance of Law, Michael Wilkins of Franklin County Indiana on this day purchased of the Register of the Land Office at Crawfordsville the Lot or East fraction of the South West Quarter of section Nineteen in township number Sixteen North of Range number Eight West containing 80 acres and no hundredths, at the rate of One Dollar and Twenty-Five Cents per acre, amounting to 100 Dollars and no Cents, for which the said Michael Wilkins has made payment in full as required by law:

Now THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN, That on presentation of this Certificate to the Commissioner of the General Land Office, the said Michael Wilkins shall be entitled to receive a Patent for the Lot above described.

Michael Wilkins of Franklin county, Ind do hereby apply for the purchase of the E frac of S.W. qr of section No. 19 in township No. 16 north of range No. 8 W containing 80 acres and no hundredths, according to the returns of the Surveyor General, for which I have agreed with the Register to give at the rate of $1.25 per acre.

I, Williamson Dunn, Register of the land office, do hereby certify that the lot above described contains 80 acres and no hundredths, as mentioned, and that the price agreed upon is $1.25 per acre.

                TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING

            Whereas, Michael Wilkins of Franklin County, Indiana has deposited in the General Land Office of the United States, a certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Crawfordsvile whereby it appears that full payment has been made by the said Michael Wilkins according to the provisions of the Act of Congress of the United States of the 24th of April, 1820, entitled "An act making further provision for the sale of the Public Lands," for the East fraction of the South West quarter of section Nineteen, in township Sixteen North, of range Eight West, in the District of lands Office for sale at Crawfordsville Indiana, containing Eighty Acres according to the official plat of the survey of the said Lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which said tract has been purchased by the said Michael Wilkins

NOW KNOW YE, That the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in consideration of the premises and in conformity; with the several acts of Congress, in such case made and provided, have Given and Granted, and, b;y these presents do give and grant, unto the said Michael Wilkins and to his heirs the said tract above described: To Have and to Hold the same, together with all the rights, privileges,immunities, and appurtenances, of whatsoever nature thereto belonging, unto the said Michael Wilkins and to his heirs and assigns forever.

            In testimony whereof,I, Andrew Jackson PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, have caused these letters to be made Patent, and the seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed.

            Given under my hand, at the City of Washington, the tenth day of April in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine and of the Independence of the United States the fifty third
