GEORGE WILKINS - NOVEMBER 1866

DEED BOOK 25 PAGE 353

 

 

   This Indenture Witnesseth that George Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins, his wife, in consideration of Seven hundred dollars to them paid by Avaline Floyd do hereby sell and convey to the said Avaline Floyd her heirs and assigns forever, the following Real Estate in Parke County and State of Indiana, towit;  the North East quarter of the North East quarter of Section twenty four in Township Seventeen North of Range eight West in the District of lands subject to sale at Crawfordsville Indiana, containing forty acres be the same more or less.  The above described land was entered by George ? and by him conveyed to George Wilkins.

   The grantors their heirs and assigns hereby covenant with the grantee her heirs and assigns that the title so conveyed is clear and unencumbered and that they will Warrant and Defend the same against all claims whatsoever.

   In Witness Whereof the said grantors have hereto set their hands and Seals this second day of November 1866.

   Before me Isaac Hunt a Justice of the Peace of said County came George Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins his wife and acknowledged the execution of the above deed.
