   This Indenture, Witnesseth, That George Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins his wife of Parke County, in the State of Indiana, convey and warrant to William A. Nichols and James Moore of Parke County, in the State of Indiana, for the sum of Seven thousand Dollars, the following real estate, in Parke County, in the state of Indiana, to-wit:  A part of the East Half of the South West Quarter of section Twenty (20) in Township Seventeen (17) North of Range Seven (7) West, bounded as follows - Commencing at the South East corner of said Quarter thence West to Mill Creek thence up said creek with meanderings of the same to the East line of said Quarter thence South Forty seven (47) poles to place of beginning.  And the South East Quarter of the South East Quarter of said section, Town and Range.  And the West half of the South East Quarter of said section Town and Range excepting however in the last named piece 3 acres - Commencing at the North West corner of said half Quarter thence South 34 poles thence East 14 poles thence North 34 poles thence West 14 poles containing in all 120 acres more or less.

   In Witness Whereof, the said George Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals this 15th day of September 1868.
