This Indenture Witnesseth, That George
Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins his wife of Parke County in the State of Indiana
convey and warrant to William Stanley of Parke County in the State of Indiana
for the sum of Four thousand eight hundred dollars the following Real Estate,
in Parke County, in the State of Indiana, to-wit; Commencing at the South Sast corner of the
West half of the North West quarter of Section Twelve (12) Township Sixteen
(16) North of Range Eight (8) West running thence West eight one (81) poles and
12 links. Thence North 109 poles and 17
1/4 links. Thence East 64 poles and 10 1/4 links. Thence South 18 poles and 11 links thence East 17
poles and 1 3/4 links. Thence South 44
poles 6 1/4 links Thence West 34 poles and 8 links. Thence South 15 poles and 3 links Thence East
34 poles and 8 links Thence South 31 poles and 21 links to place of beginning
the whole tract containing fifty acres more or less.
