   This Indenture Witnesseth That George Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins his wife of Parke County in the State of ___ convey and Warrant to Thomas K Cannon of Parke County State of Indiana for the sum of Five Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars the following Real Estate in Parke County in the State of Indiana towit:   The South East quarter and the East half of the South West quarter of Section Three (3) Township Sixteen (16) North of Range Eight (8) West.  Also two acres in the North East corner of the West half of the South West quarter of Said section laying East of the Foundry Branch and South of Sugar Creek and known as the Old Mill lot Except five acres in a triangular shape in the North East corner of said half section and one Acre in the south east corner of said South East quarter bounded towit;  Commencing at said South East corner Thence West sixteen (16) poles  Thence North ten (10) poles thence East sixteen (16) poles  Thence South ten (10) poles to the place of beginning.  Except also a tract founded as follows:  Commencing at the South East corner of the South West quarter of said Section running  Thence North Sixty Six (66) poles  Thence West thirty (30) poles  Thence North Twenty two (22) poles  Thence West fifty (50) poles  Thence South Eighty Eight (88) poles  Thence East Eighty poles to the place of beginning.  The land conveyed in this Deed contains one hundred and ninety nine acres more or less.

   In Witness Whereof the said George Wilkins and Eliza Wilkins his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals this 20th day of September A.D. 1876
