The purpose of the Pike County Museum is the collection and preservation of objects and artifacts relating to the history of Pike County, for the purpose of exhibition, education and research, in order to increase our development of Pike County, which is a unique cultural resource.

Exhibits - changing monthly exhibits are featured along with the museum's permanet collection

Education - special programs are available for the public on the past history of the utilizing items from the museum's collection

Research - courthouse records and other documentation are available for research at museum facility

Museum hours: Saturdays (except holidays) between the hours of 10:00 A. M. and 3:00 P. M  Special hours may be arranged by calling Rose Evans at 812-354-3909 (especially if you are coming from out of-town and will not be able to visit on a Saturady)

Admission: Free - Donations gratefully accepted.
