Vernice "Vern" L. Curtis, 77, of
He was born
He retired from Sigeco (Vectren) after 35 years
of service. He was a member of Mason Reed Lodge 316, Hadi
Shrine, Scottish Rite, Sword of Bunker Hill, Hadi Motor Patrol and was a driver for the
Vern was preceded in death
by his wife, Judy, in April 2012; and brothers, Delbert, Harold K. and Malcolm
"Benny" Curtis.
He is survived by his
daughters, Mary Ann (John) Wilson and Terri (Rob) Goings, both of Evansville;
grandchildren, Jamie (Cregg) Stambush,
Alisha (Nick) Crowley, Leslie (Jarad)
Lear and Kelli Goings; great-grandchildren, Hailey Lukeman, Emma and Karlie Lear and
Dayne Sexton; sister, Maxine Romick
of Ashland, KY; nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Patches.
