Donnie B. Allen, 68 of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

He was born in Doniphan, MO on September 02, 1944 to Toll and Thelma (Grimes) Allen.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Eugene; and an infant son.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Linda (Campbell) Allen; son, Daryl; mother, Thelma; brother, Alvin (Janet) Allen of KY; sisters, Vonda (Donnie) Brooks of IL, Barbara (Ernest) OverBey of IL, Carol (David) Bube of IL, sister in law, Sara Allen of Ark; grandchildren, Ashley and Kenna; several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his beloved pets, Sassy and OJ.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Opdyke Cemetery in Jefferson County, IL.
