Jacob W. Neuffer, Sr., 82, of New Harmony, Indiana, born May 22, 1930 to Jacob Henry and Margaret (Egan) Neuffer, died at his residence on Friday, March 15, 2013.

Jake enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a Korean War veteran. His beloved family will miss him dearly.

Jake is survived by his wife of 62 years: Patricia (Cardin) Neuffer; sons: Jacob Neuffer, Jr., Jim Neuffer and Brett Neuffer all of New Harmony, Indiana; grandsons: Jason, Lucas and Cody Neuffer; granddaughters: Jill Rager and Sara Neuffer and 3 great granddaughters: Ella and Olivia Neuffer and Piper Rager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters: Clara Wade, Laura-Mae Shaw and Bonnie Neuffer; his brother: Jerry Neuffer and a son: Jeffrey Neuffer.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Werry Funeral Home in New Harmony is assisting the family with arrangements.
