Bobbie Gene Russell Wolfe, 79, passed away on March 11, 2013 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center.

He was born in Posey County, IN on September 23, 1933 to Peter and Carrie (Russell) Wolfe.

Bobbie Gene retired in 1995 after over 36 years of service with ADM Milling. In his earlier years he worked at Conyers Oil Well Service. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, gardening, fishing, and cutting firewood.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and 7 siblings.

Bobbie Gene is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma Joyce (Miles) Wolfe; their 5 children, Marcy (Ronnie) Becker; Ava Santoro, Curt (Tamyra) Wolfe, Kerry (Fiancé, Becky) Wolfe, Carol (Tim) Dean; grandchildren, Jeff Jones, Brad Becker, Greg Wagner, Kara Schmitt, Kelsie Kemmerling, Kristin and Kassidy Wolfe; Hope and Amber Dean; 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Schneider Funeral Home 512 Main St. in Mt. Vernon with burial to follow in Old Beech Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
