Mrs. Helen Aldridge, 68, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Monday (19 Nov 1984) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born Jan 4, 1916 in Olney, Ill. Her parents were the late Clifford
D and Sallie Carson Emmons. She was a resident of Galatia, Ill.
Her husband Boss, died in 1975.
Local survivors include: a brother, Delbert Emmons; and a
stepbrother, Harry Tippitt, both of Mt. Vernon. Other survivors are a stepson, Robert
E. Aldridge, of New Albany; a half sister Mrs. Pauline Gott,
of Galatia, Ill; a stepsister Mrs. Iva
Oakley, of Eldorado, Ill; a four step grandchildren. Services
will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Tygart
Funeral Home with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Memorial contribution may be made to
the Posey County Heart Fund.
