Alonzo Allyn, 83, a substantial retired
Posey county farmer who had resided in
The family formerly resided northeast of Mt. Vernon and later in
Mt. Vernon.
The body of Mr. Allyn will reach Short-Niehaus Funeral Home in
Funeral and burial services are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Rev. Temas Taylor, pastor of Mt. Vernon
General Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday in
Short-Niehaus chapel. Burial will follow in Mt.
Pleasant cemetery at Bufkin.
Surviving are the wife, nee Olive Breece;
a daughter, Mrs. Leone Richardson, Delray Beach, Fla;
two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a twin brother, Orlando, Mt.
Vernon. the late Mrs. Lawrence J. Utley of Mt.
Vernon was a sister of the deceased. - Article incomplete
