Will Alsop, prominent Center Township
farmer, died at his home Tuesday night of pneumonia. He is the third
member of his family to die within the past two weeks of the same disease.
Schools, which were closed Dec 14, nine days before the regular
vacation as a precaution measure against the spread of scarlet fever and
influenza, were opened Monday morning with faculty and students ready for work
