TELL CITY - Mrs Clara Alvey, 53, died after an illness at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Welborn Hospital in Evansville.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Judy Taylor of Owensboro, Ky., and Mrs. Monie Paris of Evansville; a son, Rick Alvey of Lexington, Ky.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jones of Tell City; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Harris, Mrs. Jenny Collignon and Mrs. Juanita Kellems, all of Tell City and Mrs. Jeanett Murphy of Mt. Vernon; and five grandchildren.

Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
