ANNA EVANS BARRETT

Mrs Anna Evans Barrett, 72, wife of Jonathan Barrett, died at her home 1220 south Main street at 6:25 o'clock Monday evening following an illness of 19 weeks.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Pentecostal church on Stout street with Rev. Frank Weist and Rev. James Miller in charge.  Burial will be made in Pleasant Ridge, cemetery near Winslow.

 

Mrs. Barrett was born February 14, 1872 in Spencer county near Rockport.  She had lived in Princeton for 10 years and previously resided in Pike county for several years.  She was a member of the Pentecostal church.

 

Surviving besides the husband and two sons, Oscar E. Evans of Napa, Calif; and George O. Evans of Portsmouth, Va; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Carnes of Princeton; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Baggett of Oklahoma City, Okla, and eight grandchildren.

 

The body was removed to the home from the Colvin & Son mortuary this afternoon.
