Henry Bender, 93, a lifelong area resident, died at
A native of Poseyville, Bender lived and
farmed just north of Cynthiana, rural route Owensville.
He was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Poseyville.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Virginia
Beuligmann of Poseyville,
Mrs. Carolyn Blankenberger of Kokomo, and Mrs. Mary
Davis of Cynthiana; six sons, Benjamin, Ivan and Harold, all of Poseyville, James of Cynthiana, Joe of Owensville, and Fred
of Fort Branch; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Effinger
of Poseyville, and Mrs. Ida Miller and Miss Viola
Bender, both of Evansville; a brother, Oscar of Benice
Fla; 51 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
