MARY 'CEIL' BLAYLOCK

 

Mrs. Mary L. "Ceil" Blaylock, 53, formerly of Poseyville, died March 30, 1975 at St. Mary's Hospital at Centralia, Ill.

 

Surviving are her husband, Charles Kenneth of Centralia; and a brother, Vernon Gambrel of Wadesville, Ind.

 

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, with burial in Laurel Hill cemetery in Wadesville.

 

Friends called between and 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

CENTER NATIVE DIED IN ILLINOIS

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lucille "Ceil" Blaylock, 53, of Centralia, Ill, formerly of Center township, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Werry Chapel.  The Rev. Donald Goven, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, officiated.  Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery at Wadesville.

 

The wife of Charles Kenneth "Block: Blaylock, Mrs. Blaylock succumbed at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia following a lengthy battle with cancer.

 

Born southwest of Wadesville, she was the daughter of the late Jewel and Minnie (Morrow) Gambrel.  She attended Wadesville schools.

 

The BLAYLOCKs lived south of Wadesville before moving 15 years ago to Centralia where Mr. Blaylock is a partner in the A.D. Anderson Trucking Co.

 

In addition to the husband, survivors include a brother, Vernon Gambrel of Wadesville; nieces and nephews.
