SALLIE BOLERJACK

Mrs Sallie BOLERJACK, 81, widow of John O. BOLERJACK and a respected resident of Mt. Vernon since 1910, died at 4:55 p.m. Monday (2 Apr 1956) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Howard V. Ashworth, 1101 W. Third street.

 

She had been in failing health for several years and seriously il for the last six weeks.

 

A native of Todd county, Ky., a daughter of Wesley Qualls and Sallie Mannion Qualls, the deceased came to Mt. Vernon with her husband from Trenton, Ky.  Mr. Bolerjack died here in April 1931.

 

The body is at Short-Niehaus Funeral Home and the funeral service will be at 10 am. Wednesday at Short-Niehaus chapel.  Officiating clergymen will be Rev. Ralph E. Miller, minister of First Evangelical United Brethren Church, of which Mrs. Bolerjack was a member, and Rev. Ernest E. Hopper, pastor of Church of the Nazarene.  Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ashworth and Mrs. A. W. Standard, Mt. Vernon, and six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
