R. Neil Bottorf, 82, died at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Welborn Clinic in Mt. Vernon.

Surviving are his wife, Lois; a son, Scott of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a daughter, Miss Susan Bottorf at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Bottorf of Williamsport, Pa; and a sister, Mrs. Shirley Trostle of Wilmington, Del.

Private services were held 10 a.m. Saturday at Tygart Funeral Home with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
