CATHERINE M BOYLE

Mrs. Catherine M. Boyle, 79, widow of Edward M. Boyle, an oil industry employe for many years, and the mother of E. Frank Boyle, superintendent of The Texas Company Terminal at Mt. Vernon, died late Monday (27 Jun 1955) afternoon at her home city of Sullivan, Ind.

 

Mrs. Boyle had been seriously ill of a chronic coronary ailment since last Thursday.  She had frequently visited in the son's home in Mt. Vernon.

 

Requiem High Mass was conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sullivan.  Burial was in a cemetery near Sullivan.

 

Surviving are the son in Mt. Vernon, two other sons, Daniel Boyle, Morganfield, Ky., and State Senator Paul P. Boyle, Sullivan; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Herr, Vincennes; 17 grandchldren, and three great grandchildren.  A daughter, Mrs. Frank Kerlin, Sullivan, died in 1952.
