ORVILLE S CAVANAH

The body of Orville S. Cavanah, 67, member of an old Mt. Vernon family, will be brought to Mt. Vernon Friday from Evanston, Illinois for burial in Bellefontaine cemetery.

 

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 o'clock Friday morning by Rev. J. Kenneth Forbes, minister of First Methodist church.  Weisinger funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

 

A sister, Miss Frances Cavanah, a writer of books for children of considerable reputation, will accompany the body to Mt. Vernon.

 

The deceased was a native of Mt. Vernon, a son of Oscar Cavanah, a local teacher and principal and Lula Neale Cavanah.  He was a Midwest salesman for many years and a talented violinist.  He was never married.

 

The sister in Evanston and a brother, Neale Cavanah, New York State are the nearest surviving relatives.  Miss Maybelle Neale, Mt. Vernon, a resident in the Maxey Nursing Home in Evansville, is a cousin.
